El Faro de Cádiz
This classic is located in the Barrio de la Viña at San Félix, 15, and is one of the city’s best traditional restaurants for seafood and the famous tortillitas de camarones (baby shrimp fritters). Mare Restaurante
Opened in the heart of Cadiz at Plaza de la Candelaria in 2021, this is a small restaurante for only 12 diners. Barbate born chef Juan Viu offers traditional Cádiz cuisine inspired by the chef Juan Viu’s mother and deserts from the family pasty business in Barbate. Offers an 80€ menu plus a wine paring for 50€. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday-Saturday and lunch only on Sundays. The La Marmita Cádiz Group opened this restaurant/gastrobar in 2017 in the heart of the historical quarter in a former 18th-century palace, El Armador Casa Palacio, at Calle Ancha, 7. Aplomo – bistró Atlántico
This small restaurant/tapas bar is located at Calle Fernández Ballesteros, 3, a couple of steps from Playa de la Victoria. This Basque family restaurant at Calle Plocia, 7, originally called Pontevedra-Atxuri, opened its doors in 1947 and is now in the hands of the 3rd generation; Marián and Julen Monasterio.
